Last week, the grand-son of former President Nelson Mandela, Zondwa was called to testify in an investigation of the Supreme Court in Pretoria but, he did not turn up.
Subsequently, Johan Engelbrecht, the liquidator of the assets of Pamodzi Gold said the company planned to lay charges in the coming weeks.
Aurora Empowerment Systems, headed by Zondwa and President Jacob Zuma’s nephew, Khulubuse, has been appointed as preferred bidder for Pamodzi mines in the liquidation in 2009. But, the management contract has since been canceled after the company was accused of destroying the infrastructure in mining resulting in a loss of more than 5300 jobs.
First charges will be laid then he will have to testify in court. If he does not respect the appeal this time, the judge will be able to accuse him of contempt of court, says Engelbrecht.
The inquiry, which is in line with sections 417 and 418 of the Companies Act, is focused on the conduct of managers within the company when it took possession of the assets of Pamodzi.
This inquiry marks the end of any understanding between Aurora and Pamodzi, and by consequence the end of the mining agreement between Aurora and the liquidators of Pamodzi.

La semaine dernière, le petit-fils de l'ancien président Nelson Mandela, Zondwa a été cité comme témoin dans le cadre d’une enquête menée par la Cour Suprême de Pretoria mais voilà, celui-ci ne s'est pas présenté.
Par la suite, Johan Engelbrecht, le liquidateur des actifs de la Pamodzi Gold a déclaré que la compagnie prévoyait d’engager des poursuites au cours des prochaines semaines.

Le contrat de gestion a depuis été annulée après que la compagnie eut été accusée de détruire l'infrastructure dans les mines, entraînant ainsi une perte de plus de 5300 emplois.
En premier lieu les accusations seront portées puis Zondwa devra témoigner au tribunal d'instance. S’il ne respecte pas cette fois-ci laconvocation, le magistrat sera en droit de l'accuser d'outrage au tribunal, raconte Engelbrecht.
L'enquête menée en vertu des sections 417 et 418 de la Loi sur les Sociétés, est axée sur la conduite des dirigeants au sein de l'entreprise au moment où elle a pris possession des actifs de Pamodzi.
Cette enquête marque la fin de toute entente entre Aurora et Pamodzi et donc la fin de la convention minière entre Aurora et les liquidateurs de Pamodzi.
