Rare blue diamond found

A rare blue diamond has been discovered in the Cullinan mine, near Pretoria by Petra Diamonds. The 29.6-carat diamond, one of the most exceptional stones ever unearthed, could fetch between $15m and $20m at auction.
Another blue diamond found by the company in May 2009 was auctioned for $10m.
The renowned Star of Africa blue diamond, discovered at the Cullinan mine in 1905, became part of the British crown jewels.

Opinion:
Finding such a stone is like finding a million dollars on the streets. We all know there is a lot of money to make, but I think that giving it to a museum would be better than putting it at auction. Giving such an amount of money is useless and won't change the value of the diamond. When it was discovered in the mine, everyone thought about what it costs. They forgot about its beauty and rarity.

Opinion:
Trouver une telle pierre est comme trouver un million de dollars dans la rue. Nous savons tous qu'il y a beaucoup d'argent à gagner, mais il serait mieux de le placer dans un musée que de le mettre aux enchères. Donner autant d'argent est inutile et ne changera pas la valeur du diamant. Quand il a été découvert dans la mine, tout le monde pensait à son prix en oubliant sa beauté et sa rareté.
